Today, controlling pollutant levels in the human environment is essential, and this cannot be properly achieved without sufficient expertise in pollutant measurement. The Environmental Laboratory of Shakheh Zeytoon Lian is capable of measuring the following chemical, biological, and microbiological parameters.
Water and wastewater, soil, ambient air, stack emissions, noise, and environmental particulate matter.
The laboratory also provides comprehensive environmental monitoring services by conducting quarterly self-monitoring of industrial and manufacturing units, sampling, analysis, and recording monitoring results in the relevant systems of the Department of Environment. Monitoring of autoclaves used in hospital waste treatment systems is carried out to ensure the proper sterilization and safe treatment of infectious waste. During this monitoring, parameters such as temperature, pressure, time, and autoclave cycle performance are continuously monitored and recorded. Chemical indicators and, at specified intervals, biological indicators are also used to assess the effectiveness of the sterilization process.
